Regional Install Project Manager

The responsibilities of this position entail maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship with builders to often require the employee to maintain diplomacy during difficult customer situations, while continuing to effectively represent Pella’s interests. The employee will be expected to exhibit the highest standard of personal ethics at all times and adhere to all corporate policies. Duties can be broadly understood to happen across the following project timeline.
Project Management
- Provide necessary in-house and field support for ongoing projects
- Acts as the Lead during delivery and installation with builder
- Establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress service team members supporting walk through completion
- Identify solutions to unforeseen challenges that arise during the project cycle
- Attend project progress meetings as requested
- Works in tandem with contractor or customer to ensure successful project completion
- Assist in coordination with recovery team for any non-first time complete projects
- Participate in Final Walk throughs with builders and provide onsite support as requested
- Coordinate and schedule all deliveries
- Order all service items and materials
- Schedule and coordinate all service post install
- Follow up with customer after service events to ensure satisfaction
- Provide leadership in support of the sales staff’s project acquisition strategies. Duties may include presenting product or installing technical data.
- Provide outstanding customer service, oversee and take responsibility of all service events to ensure satisfactory completion when necessary.
- Complete any special billing documentation and ensure all projects are invoiced promptly relating to walk through/service needs during and after installation.
- Provide all documentation required (service manuals, warranties, etc.)
- Manage service needs to complete project punch lists and walk throughs
- Support all delivery and installation to the customer’s expectations.
- Recognize potential site problems and identify solutions with on-site contractors/builders.
- Confirm projects are ready for delivery and install.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in construction related field; or 3-5 years equivalent combination of education and experience in construction. Specific experience in the fenestration industry a plus.
Language and Communication Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction contract documents including architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and construction contracts. Ability to write field reports, business correspondence, and provide others direct instruction related to construction practices and procedures. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical and Reasoning Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internal Ordering Systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be willing to obtain necessary Safety certifications as required by associated construction activities, including: General Safety Certificates, Boom Lift License

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 / year depending on experience.
